Yes, team lists are required for both Video Game League Challenges and League Cups. Team lists for the tournament staff can be located on the Play! Pokémon Rules & Resources page.

What do competitors need to bring with them?

Competitors should remember to bring their Nintendo Switch system!

Tournament Mode

Video Game League Challenges and League Cups must be run using the VGC Premier Event Tournament mode.

When do Video Game League Challenges and League Cups start each season?

Video Game League Challenges and League Cups start in September each season. Please note that these events are paused in July and August every year, and no video game events that earn Championship Points can take place during these months.
