In order to earn CP from eligible Pokémon Champions tournaments, you must connect Pokémon Champions to the Play! Pokémon Access app.
Before Getting Started
- You must have a valid Player ID registered to your Pokémon Trainer Central account. See How do I generate a Player ID?
- Download the Play! Pokémon Access app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
- Be ready with your support ID from Pokémon Champions (Nintendo Switch versions or mobile version). You can find your support ID on the app’s start screen or through Submenu > Legal Info & More.
Link Pokémon Champions to Play! Pokémon Access
- Open the Play! Pokémon Access app and log in with your Pokémon Trainer Central account.
- Tap Menu at the bottom of the screen and select Pokémon Champions Support ID.
- Enter your support ID from Pokémon Champions.
- Confirm your support ID from Pokémon Champions.
- Select the submit button.
- If successful, your support ID is now linked and will display in the app for your reference.
One Support ID, One Player ID
You can only link one Pokémon Champions support ID to one Player ID, and you can’t change the linked support ID later.
Not seeing the Support ID section of the Play! Pokémon Access app?
Be sure that your Player ID is registered to your Pokémon Trainer Central account. The menu will not appear for guest accounts or for those logged in to an account that doesn’t have a Player ID.
Can’t select submit?
The support ID must match in both fields before you can continue to select submit.
Did you receive an error when you submitted your support ID?
First, try reopening the app and attempting the linking process again. If that doesn’t work, contact customer support and include your Player ID as well as your Pokémon Champions support ID.
