What are Play! Pokémon Prize Packs?
Play! Pokémon Prize Packs are exclusive Pokémon Trading Card Game booster packs that contain six cards featuring the Play! Pokémon logo—all of which are legal in the Standard format. Check out the Prize Pack Card Gallery for a full list of cards from each Prize Pack series.
As a player, how can I obtain Prize Packs?
Prize Packs can be obtained by attending official events hosted at eligible Play! Pokémon Stores in your area. Use the Event Locator to find an event close to you. Please note that Prize Packs are available while supplies last.
As a Play! Pokémon Store, how can I obtain Prize Packs?
To be eligible to receive Prize Packs, Play! Pokémon Stores must report their activities regularly and be in good standing with the Play! Pokémon program.

The number of Prize Packs sent to eligible stores is based on the average player attendance reported for Play! Sessions, tournaments, and other events. The allocation of Prize Packs for each store is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
How do I distribute Prize Packs at my store?
Play! Pokémon Stores are welcome to use Prize Packs at their own discretion, with the only limitation being that Prize Packs should never be sold.
Prize Packs are intended to incentivize event attendance and reward players for taking part in activities hosted at eligible Play! Pokémon Stores.
Never Sell Prize Packs
Selling Prize Packs may result in disciplinary action up to and including removal from the Play! Pokémon program.
There are a variety of ways to distribute Prize Packs—see some ideas below. However, the distribution of Prize Packs is left to the discretion of each store owner.
- Award 1 Prize Pack to each player for attending a Play! Session.
- Award 1 Prize Pack to each player attending a League Cup or League Challenge, with additional prizing for top finishers in each age division.
- Award 1 Prize Pack to a player who brings a new player to a Play! Session.
- Award 1 Prize Pack as a participation prize for Friendly Tournaments.
